Every single human being is bestowed the natural gift to grow and get improved. The natural skills that were planted since the beginning of each birth to earth are regarded to continuously nurture. It is described like an already drawn paper by Psychologist. This school of human psychology growth is challenged a lot nowadays by several emerging points of views over the process of human development. More over when it comes to the discussion about how to teach and guide children about self-independence in life.

Of the opposing schools over the so called Nativism there are Behaviorism and Convergence approach. The two approaches have been leading the opposition over the belief that children could grow to the destined conditions given. There were lots of reasons for opposing the basic hypothesis of Nativism includes the very philosophy of justice to be the same as human regarding various norms and social thought in societies.

According to several proponents of Behaviorism, children would be influenced much by the surrounding environment and the process of behavior taken to be one’s preference. The leading thinker of this school of psychology is John B. Watson, an American psychologist who established his thought in the early 1910a and dominated over the first half of twentieth century. Watson believed that psychology has to study the observable aspects of human’s behavior instead of simply learning the prejudiced inner thought and feeling. His conception eventually produced the stimulus theory that helped energized the learning and scientific research in humans and animals from infancy to adulthood.

As a matter of facts, recent development of the study proves lots of correlations between the clashing schools, Nativism versus Behaviorism. On one hand, human is inevitably colored by some given potentials from genetic heritance of parents by which they grow in line with the endogenous talents. On the other hand, environment always contribute certain features of attitude and characteristics. The growth from infancy to adulthood somehow rely on the given situations and process taken. In this regard Convergence approach comes with its idea to bridge the different underground of two clashing schools in psychology. Convergence proponents believe that both inner thoughts and feeling of human given since birth and the process of life help color the characteristics and behavior of human being. After all, Convergence approach in psychology inspired us to have the right conception over how to teach and educate our children since the early stages of their life.
